Multiple countywide offices are up for election in 2022. To help educate chamber members on the positions of the different candidates running we have continued to utilize our candidate alignment process which is detailed below - however you'll notice that only the Board of Supervisors candidates were eligible for alignment status this year. You'll find at the bottom of this page which candidates have earned alignment status (if eligible), and a link for more information on each of them including a biography, access to their questionnaire if they completed it, and links to their social media and campaign website.

About Candidate Alignment
The Dubuque Area Chamber of Commerce, as advocates for Dubuque area businesses, is dedicated to advancing policies that help grow your business and our economy. As part of the Chamber's work to pursue this effort, we inform members about local and state candidates' alignment with the Chamber's legislative priorities.
The Dubuque Area Chamber of Commerce does not consider political party affiliation in the alignment process and does not endorse one candidate over another in any race. Furthermore, the Chamber does not financially contribute to any campaign in any way. The process used by the Chamber allows multiple candidates to be aligned for the same race. The Chamber does not attempt to sort out the truth about candidates' personalities, or the candidate's stance on non-business issues, our mission requires sole focus on what candidates for elected office say they will do regarding business issues, and what they actually do while holding office.
