Leadership Dubuque promotes civic responsibility by encouraging community involvement and is designed to develop and connect existing and emerging professional leaders with the goal of enhancing positive growth within our business community.

Established by the Dubuque Area Chamber of Commerce, Leadership Dubuque has provided hundreds of individuals the opportunity to cultivate community knowledge, develop personal leadership skills, and network with individuals across multiple sectors in our area.

Cost
The cost of the program per participant is $1,570.00 for Chamber members only, to be paid prior to the start of classes.

Who Can Participate?
Chamber member employees from all areas of the community (i.e. small business owners, managers, elected officials, lawyers, builders, doctors, etc.) are eligible for the program.

Leadership Dubuque offers participants the opportunity to:

• Learn more about our community resources, government, businesses, and educational opportunities along with the impact of economic development on the community
• Enhance leadership skills
• Exchange ideas and experiences, both formally and informally
• Meet and build relationships with other leaders from many different segments of our society
• Develop new business contacts within and through the group
• The ultimate goal of Leadership Dubuque is for participants to become actively involved in leadership roles in the community, thus enriching the quality of life and shaping the future

Agenda for the Leadership Dubuque class of 2026
Beginning in October, Power Hour proceeds each day from 8:00-9:00 AM with the exception of March when the class will be in Des Moines. Classes will then meet from 9:00 AM - 5:00 PM at different locations around Dubuque.
