Biography
I was born in Sageville, Iowa, My wife Lori and I have 3 sons, 2 daughters-in-law, and 3 grandsons. We have been happily married for over 38 years.
In 1981, I graduated from Hempstead High School, attended Loras College, and later graduated from the University of Dubuque with a BA in Business. I also graduated from Northwest Iowa Technical College in the Powerline Program.
This led to my career in the electric utility industry in 1986 both as a lineman in the field and management roles. I was then elected as Mayor of Sageville in 2019 and re-elected in 2021.
It has been with great interest since then, I have been attending Board of Supervisor, Board of Health, and School Board meetings regularly. I am hardworking, transparent, and actively listen to all, I was made to do this!
