What do you enjoy outside of work?
In my spare time I enjoy spending time with friends and family, traveling, attending concerts, and working on design projects.
Tell us about your family.
I grew up on a dairy farm near Holy Cross, Iowa and am the oldest of four children. Growing up we were very close to our extended family, and I treasure the memories.
What is one unique fact about you that many people may not know?
One of my bucket list goals is to travel all 50 states.
Who is one person who inspires you, and why?
Entrepreneurs inspire me. Their willingness to take risks, their drive to succeed, and their perseverance to keep trying even after having faced failure.
Where is your favorite spot in Dubuque?
I love the architecture and atmosphere of the Millwork District in Dubuque.
What do you enjoy most about being a YP member?
As a YP member, I enjoy the opportunity each month to learn from the different speakers and network with fellow business professionals.
What piece of advice would you give a new YP member?
A piece of advice I would give new YP members is to step outside your comfort zone and be open to facing new opportunities. Attend YP Meetings and Events to connect with peers while learning about their experiences, both personally and professionally.
