What Would You Do for a Free Air Conditioner?

Some Tri-State residents are using social media to win a free air conditioner and the competition is getting ugly.

[Dubuque, IA -July 10, 2017] Would you post a picture of you and your ugly air conditioner on Facebook so you would win a free air conditioner? Currently, Patterson Comfort & Safety is hosting an ugly A/C contest and things are heating up. So far more than 16 people have joined in on the fun and more than 3,000 people have voted in the local contest. The winner will take home a new Bryant high efficiency 13 SEER air conditioner. (Up to a 2-ton capacity). Patterson Comfort & Safety is asking contestants to “Like” their company page on Facebook, take a picture with their ugly A/C and vote. The photo with the most Facebook “LIKES” at 11:59 p.m. on July 14, 2017 will win. Winner must live within 30 miles of Dubuque, IA. A winner will be announced on Monday July 17, 2017 at noon LIVE on Facebook. Two contestants have more than 1,000 likes. Now that’s cool!

The contest is meant to be a fun way to interact with the community while helping to build awareness towards the use of more cost effective and high efficiency air conditioners. Participants are urged to have fun with the pictures and make them interesting to garnish votes.
