Dubuque, Iowa; July 16, 2021 – Are you going to be eligible for Medicare in the near future? Have you been on Medicare for a while and want to better understand what it offers? Do you have a family member you help with Medicare issues?
“Welcome to Medicare” is for you! This 90-minute seminar offered by the MercyOne Dubuque Medical Center SHIIP counselors will be held Saturday, August 21, 2021, at 10 a.m. The seminar will be held in the sixth-floor auditorium at MercyOne Dubuque Medical Center, 250 Mercy Drive, Dubuque, Iowa. Registration is required. Please register by August 12, 2021, by calling 563-589-9002.

“Welcome to Medicare” will cover Medicare Part A and Part B benefits, the prescription drug benefit (Part D), Medicare Advantage plans and Medicare supplement insurance.
Space is limited to allow for social distancing. Upon arrival at the hospital, attendees will be screened and have a temperature check. Masks are required at all times in the facility.
SHIIP, the Senior Health Insurance Information Program, is a service of the State of Iowa. SHIIP services are free, confidential, and unbiased. SHIIP counselors are trained by the state and do not sell or promote any insurance companies, policies or agents. MercyOne Dubuque Medical Center is a local sponsor for SHIIP in Dubuque county.
