DUBUQUE, Iowa (Dec. 10, 2024) – This holiday season, UScellular will give back to the community with a $1,500 donation of sports and video equipment and arts and crafts supplies to the Dubuque Dream Center.
Dr. Martin Luther King Jr.’s vision to empower youth, strengthen families and unite communities inspired the Dubuque Dream Center. Through its “In Your Life” mentoring model, the center builds meaningful mentor-mentee relationships to provide personalized support for academic and life success.
UScellular's donation of sports equipment (baseballs, baseball bat, basketballs, basketball pump, foam dodgeballs, mesh basketball bags, playground ball and training cones), arts and crafts supplies (acrylic paint, art easel, brown paper roll, oil pastels, paint brushes, paint trays, poster board and sketch pads) and high-quality video equipment (memory card, tripod and video camera) will support the center's camps. The sports gear will benefit the Dubuque Dream Center’s boys and girls basketball program.
As part of UScellular’s Gift of Connection program, the Dubuque Dream Center donation is among 50 gifts to nonprofits across the country. The company will help organizations by providing needed supplies in gratitude for their dedication to building connection through art, music and sports in their local communities.

UScellular also invites community members to participate in the Gift of Connection through a donation drive at select UScellular retail locations. Everyone is encouraged to donate new sports equipment, art supplies or family board games that will be gifted to a local nonprofit.
