Grant will provide financial support to UnityPoint Health – Finley Hospital’s Senior Student Promise Program

Dubuque, Iowa – UnityPoint Health – Finley Health Foundation was recently named one of the recipients of a Core Grant in the amount of $48,600 from the Dubuque Racing Association (DRA). This grant will provide financial support to UnityPoint Health – Finley Hospital’s newly announced Senior Student Promise Program, which provides financial assistance and a guaranteed offer of employment from Finley Hospital upon graduation and licensure.

By receiving this grant, Finley Hospital will utilize their Senior Student Promise Program to foster a committed pipeline of recent graduates to recruit and fill critical positions within our health care workforce. The retention of highly skilled health care professionals will benefit patients and their families, while also having a positive economic impact on the Dubuque community.
