Registration open from November 1 – November 28

DUBUQUE, Iowa (October 24, 2025) – The Salvation Army of Dubuque will once again help local families in need experience the joy of Christmas.

Beginning November 1 through November 28, families seeking Christmas assistance may complete an online application at www.saangeltree.org. Registration is open to residents of Dubuque County, and families may apply for children, newborn through age 12.

In-Person Registration
For those needing help completing the application, in-person registration will be available at the following location and times:

The Salvation Army of Dubuque
1099 Iowa St, Dubuque
Tuesday, November 25 & Wednesday, November 26
9 a.m. – 12 p.m. & 1 p.m. – 3 p.m.

Important Application Reminder
Applicants will need to enter an Invitation Code to verify their email address and reduce duplicate submissions.

• If you have not started an application, select “No” and answer a few questions before entering your email. You’ll receive an Invitation Code via email to begin your application.
• If you have already started an application, select “Yes” and enter your email address. You’ll receive an Invitation Code and can then choose to “Continue” or “Start Over.”

Applicants should be prepared to upload photo identification (state-issued ID), proof of income, and birth certificates for all children registered. In place of birth certificates, school registrations or immunization records that show the child’s name and date of birth will be accepted.

Toy Donations Needed

To meet the growing need this Christmas, The Salvation Army is requesting donations of new, unwrapped toys. Gifts can be dropped off at The Salvation Army, 1099 Iowa St, Dubuque.

The toy donation deadline is noon on Friday, December 12.
