DUBUQUE, Iowa (November 17, 2025) – The Salvation Army Angel Trees, decorated with tags representing local children in need, have once again returned to Dubuque, offering the community an opportunity to share the joy of Christmas with families facing hardship.
This year, The Salvation Army of Dubuque joins forces with national partner Walmart and local supporters Caroline’s Restaurant, Grand River Center, and Harris Golf Cars to spread hope and holiday cheer to hundreds of children across our community.
“We know many families are struggling, and we hope to ease their burden by ensuring every child wakes up to a gift on Christmas morning,” said Captain Laura Amick, Corps Officer. “We’re deeply grateful to our partners and to the generous donors who make this program possible year after year.”
How It Works:
Choose an Angel tag from one of the participating locations (listed above), which lists a child’s age, gender, and suggested gifts. Shoppers are encouraged to spend between $25 and $40 per child, though there’s no strict price limit.
