Bob Felderman is an Iowa, Illinois and Wisconsin Certified General (Commercial) Real Estate Appraiser with Felderman Appraisals and Continental Realty Dubuque, located at 55 Bluff Street in Dubuque, Iowa.
The Governor of Iowa recently appointed Felderman to one of seven professional positions on the Iowa Real Estate Appraiser Board to serve for a three-year period. The board administers regulations, licensing and discipline to the real estate appraiser profession in Iowa.
Felderman has been in the appraisal and real estate business for over 32 years, working real estate property from residential to land to agricultural to special purpose to complicated commercial or industrial assignments with a specialty in projects that require testimony skills. He has been a real estate and appraisal instructor, and a senior review appraiser for a national financial company.
Felderman was most recently recognized for having earned the REALTORS Military Relocation Professional (MRP) Certification; which is designed for Realtors® who want to help military personnel and veterans find housing solutions that best meet their needs and allow them to take full advantage of their military benefits.
General Felderman served over 35 years in the military, with over 10 years of active duty, before retiring as a US Army Brigadier General in 2010 after 30 years in the National Guard and six year active duty tour at NORAD-USNorthcom.
The appointment to the Iowa Real Estate Appraiser Examining Board is a volunteer board position. Felderman serves as an advisor to US Global Leadership Coalition and Desktop Alert Mass Notification Company, is an executive board member of the Northeast Iowa Boy Scout Council, a City of Dubuque Sister City Commissioner, and a board member of the Ancient Order of Hibernians, the Dubuque Irish Hooley and other philanthropic endeavors.
