Des Moines, Iowa; May 16, 2024 – MercyOne Air Med recently earned full accreditation from CAMTS – the Commission on Accreditation of Medical Transport Systems.
CAMTS standards include patient care, medical personnel education, medical equipment, and the safety of our pilots, maintenance staff, communication centers and management. CAMTS is a nonprofit organization dedicated to improving the quality and safety of medical transport services.
“To become CAMTS-accredited, a program must show it excels in safety and clinical competency. MercyOne Air Med has proven, through this accreditation, that our program meets the high standards set by CAMTS to serve our communities.
