October is Breast Cancer Awareness month, and in recognition, Mercy Medical Center – Dubuque is going pink to help promote the importance of breast health and the early detection of breast cancer.
During the month of October, pink LED lights will illuminate the exterior, east-facing wall of the hospital near the main entrance.
Mercy urges the community to "think pink" during October and learn more about breast cancer, and remind women to be proactive about their health and schedule their mammogram screenings.
