Dear Dubuque County Board of Supervisors,

On behalf of the Dubuque Area Chamber of Commerce please accept this correspondence as our formal support for the proposed County Conservation Bond. 

The Board of Directors voted unanimously at the August Board Meeting to support the bond measure for up to $40M.  Citing workforce priorities and the tremendous need to attract and retain talent, the benefits gained by the proposed outdoor recreation and water quality/conservation projects is an investment in the future of our economic growth and vitality.

We respectfully urge the County Board of Supervisors to approve the Chamber’s request to put the Conservation Bond Measure on the November 2, 2021, ballot.  Thank you for your consideration!
