WASHINGTON – Sen. Chuck Grassley (R-Iowa) met with community and business leaders today from the Dubuque Area Chamber of Commerce during their annual trip to Washington. The group discussed several topics, including historic preservation, housing, economic development, air service, infrastructure projects, trade, health care and more.

“It was a pleasure meeting with community leaders from the Dubuque area to hear about the issues most important to them,” Grassley said. “Representative government is a two-way street. It’s vital to speak with community leaders directly to stay informed on the challenges and opportunities they face. I always appreciate the greater Dubuque community taking time each year to share their priorities with me. Their passion and commitment are evident. I look forward to bringing their priorities to the policymaking tables.”
