Dubuque, IA, November 30, 2023– Grand River Medical Group- Tri-State Dialysis, a leading provider in kidney care and dialysis services has finalized construction on their new facility in Platteville, WI. Tri-State Dialysis has been providing dialysis and kidney care to Platteville and the surrounding communities since 2000.
The new unit located at 5 Insight Drive, next to Honkamp will continue to provide hemodialysis services to its current patients in a bright, modern, and spacious new location. The new unit became operational on Monday, November 27. Hemodialysis is a process that removes waste from patient’s blood by removing it from the body and sending it through a machine to remove impurities before returning the blood back to the body. In people with normal kidney function that happens naturally.
It is great to be in a beautiful new space and to provide an improved patient experience. Our hemodialysis patients spend 3-4 hours a day, three times a week with us, so being able to provide a bright new space has been a goal for many years. YOU’RE INVITED- The group will celebrate their new location with an Open House at the new site just off US Business Highway 151 on Insight Drive, on Wednesday, December 6 from 4:30 p.m. – 7:00 p.m., this event is open to the public.
Our Nephrology and Tri-State Dialysis Teams are excited to continue meeting the needs of local and neighboring community patients by providing a local choice in dialysis services. We will also continue to provide kidney care and consults by our board-certified nephrologist Dr. John Whalen, Dr. David Ringold and Dr. Andrew Bland and other dialysis services such as home dialysis (home hemodialysis/peritoneal), which allows patients to receive their dialysis care in the comfort of their own home.

The new unit will be open Monday, Wednesday, and Friday from 6:00 a.m. – 5:00 p.m. In addition to the new dialysis unit the property will also have additional medical space available for the group’s future growth.
Grand River Medical Group Tri-State Dialysis also serves patients in Richland Center, WI, Dubuque, and Manchester, IA. Tri-State Dialysis previously operated in Platteville, WI at 1250 US-151 BUS #511, Platteville, WI 53818 before moving to this newly constructed dialysis facility.
