DUBUQUE, Iowa, September 23, 2020– Grand River Medical Group, PC, a leading provider of health care in Dubuque, has contracted with Test Iowa to increase access to COVID-19 testing in Dubuque County.
Starting Monday, September 28th Iowans will have another location in Dubuque to get COVID-19 testing. Grand River Medical Group located in Dubuque, IA will start offering testing through the Test Iowa Initiative at our Respiratory Clinic location (1400 University Ave, Apt #6) on Monday. Our hours of operation will be Monday – Thursday, 12:00 p.m. – 7:00 p.m. and Friday 12:00 p.m. – 5:00 p.m., by appointment only, scheduled online through the Test Iowa website. Those who want to be tested through the Test Iowa program must go to Testiowa.com and complete the questionnaire. After they complete the questionnaire, they will receive a QR code and may request an appointment at a local clinic location. When choosing Grand River Medical Group as your location you will be asked to schedule your appointment utilizing the online tools, no appointments will be scheduled by phone. We will not be offering drive-up testing at our location, all appointments will be scheduled as in clinic appointments.
“We will offer appointments based on hours that are predictable. Our goal is to ensure increased access to testing while continuing to make quality assurance a top priority,” said Justin Hafner, the groups CEO.
Ronald Iverson, president at Grand River Medical Group, sees this a great opportunity to provide the community with a great resource for testing. While this venture does allow increased access to testing, we do encourage people to continue to practice social distancing, wear a mask in public and follow proper hand washing.
