FREE CONCERT TICKETS TO STRIKING JOHN DEERE EMPLOYEES

DUBUQUE – The Five Flags Center, Dubuque’s entertainment destination, is offering striking John Deere employees and their families complimentary tickets to Saturday’s Bone Thugs-N-Harmony concert, the facility announced today. The free tickets can be picked up at the Five Flags Box Office by showing a valid United Auto Workers membership card. The offer extends to workers currently on strike from John Deere facilities in Dubuque, Waterloo, and the Quad Cities.
“We understand that this strike is impacting many workers at one of this area’s largest employers,” said Five Flags Center General Manager H.R. Cook. “Given the economic impact these workers have provided to our communities for several decades, we feel it is only right to offer them a night of entertainment that will not impact their pocketbooks during this uncertain time.”
Saturday’s concert will be headlined by Bone Thugs-N-Harmony, a legendary hip hop group most famous for their 1996 hit “Tha Crossroads,” which spent eight weeks at the top of the Billboard singles chart. Lil Flip and Do or Die are also scheduled to perform, along with local support acts. The concert will begin at 8:00 PM Saturday, with doors opening at 7:00. Complimentary tickets for striking John Deere employees will be available during regular box office hours (weekdays from 10:00 AM to 1:00 PM and 2:00 to 5:00 PM) as well as on the night of the concert. More information about the show can be found at FiveFlagsCenter.com.
