Free Family Event Planned for August 11 in Washington Park in Downtown Dubuque
August 1, 2018 (DUBUQUE, IA) – Families will have one more opportunity to enjoy the final weeks of summer during a creative community event hosted by the Dubuque Museum of Art (DuMA).
The DuMA will present its Family Art Carnival on Saturday, August 11, 2018 from Noon-4 p.m. in Washington Park, located across from the Museum. The free, family-oriented event is held in conjunction with the Museum's ongoing Second Saturday series, sponsored by Mediacom.
Additional support is provided by U.S. Bank and Runde Auto Group.
The event will feature outdoor art activities and games, an inflatable bounce house and miniature ponies, family art studio adventures and ice cream treats, along with tours of current exhibitions. Hy-Vee Grill items will be available for purchase.
