In the late 1980’s when The Swiss Colony found itself in need of an expanded workforce to handle the ever-growing number of orders from their family of catalogs, the southwest Wisconsin and Dubuque, Iowa area fulfilled that need.  The SC Contact Center in Dickeyville, Wisconsin was opened in 1989 by The Swiss Colony, now known as Colony Brands.

Headquartered in Monroe, Wisconsin, Colony Brands is an omni-channel direct marketing company that was founded in 1926.  Today, the company is one of the largest and most successful direct marketers in the U.S. with 10 catalog brands, nearly 30 facilities in six states, and one overseas office in Shanghai, China, in addition to an extensive portfolio of affiliated companies.

The SC Contact Center in Dickeyville, Wisconsin receives orders and provides customer service by telephone and internet for our catalog and e-commerce brands, which include three food brands - The Swiss Colony, The Tender Filet, and The Wisconsin Cheeseman, and seven non-food brands specializing in a range of general merchandise or apparel/accessories - Seventh Avenue, Montgomery Ward, Monroe & Main, Ginny’s, Midnight Velvet, Ashro, and Through the Country Door.

Seventh Avenue and Montgomery Ward lead our family of brands.  Seventh Avenue was established in 1982 and is a home-grown brand.  We acquired Montgomery Ward in 2008 and it has quickly become a big player in our portfolio.

Colony Brands has enjoyed a successful growth path and is a significant employer in the Midwest with over 1,200 regular full-time and 6,000 temporary employees.  In 2015, the company was named a “Forbes Best Employer”.
