Dubuque, Iowa – UnityPoint Health – Dubuque is asking community members to express their appreciation for our healthcare workers on Valentine’s Day or any day in February.

Individuals may consider showing their gratitude or appreciation to a healthcare worker at UnityPoint Health – Finley Hospital or UnityPoint Clinic and UnityPoint at Home locations in Dubuque by completing an act of kindness. Here are some ideas:

• Send a free e-card to a healthcare worker at UnityPoint Health using the available options on the UnityPoint Health website, which may be found at: https://bit.ly/UPHThankYou. 
• Send handwritten cards. They can be sent to Finley Hospital, 350 N. Grandview Ave. Dubuque, IA 52001 (Attention: Thank a Healthcare Worker)
• Donate blood to support our local ImpactLife and American Red Cross centers
• Give to the Finley Health Foundation
• Get your COVID-19 vaccine or booster

For the past two years, healthcare workers have been on the frontlines caring for members of our community sick with COVID-19 and other conditions. They’ve worked long hours, taking away time from being with their family and loved ones. They’ve faced staffing shortages and variants of COVID-19. All while continuing to provide necessary medical care to keep our community amazing.
Our healthcare workers are exhausted and stressed. They deserve the support from our local community. Please take a moment and show those who care for our community just how much they matter.
