DUBUQUE, Iowa, October 17, 2016—Cartegraph is excited to announce the appointment of Tim McCool as the company’s new director of sales. As director, McCool will oversee all software revenue functions and is responsible for evolving the company’s sales strategy, building and fulfilling data-driven fiscal budgets, and cultivating and leading the sales division team.
“It’s a very exciting time at Cartegraph: we’re changing the way local government does business and have made it our mission to show the world the power of operational data,” said Jake Schneider, president and CEO of Cartegraph. “We are thrilled to have Tim join the team and look forward to using his wealth of experience, data-centric approach, and strength-based leadership to continue to grow our business.”
McCool joins Cartegraph from Acorn Stairlifts, Inc., where he was the vice president of sales and marketing. During his 12-year tenure at Acorn, McCool directed and executed strategic initiatives while providing leadership to the sales and marketing teams. He drove a 300 percent annual growth over the last four years and grew the organization’s salesforce from three to 300 employees—resulting in a $98 million increase in sales with a strong yield percentage nationwide. A graduate of the University of Central Florida, McCool and his wife, Hannah, have relocated to Dubuque, Iowa from Orlando, Florida.
“Early on, I knew Cartegraph was a company that has such great potential for tremendous growth,” said McCool. “I am thrilled to be able to join such a wonderful team of people that are on a mission to show the world the power of operational data. I look forward to contributing to this revolution and using my prior experiences to create a successful strategic initiative to meet the needs of local government operations around the country.”
