Beginning Monday, October 31st, Crawford North opens the two week nomination period for Crawford Cares – a program to give back to the Greater Dubuque community by recognizing the efforts of Dubuque's many and varied non-profits. Simply ask a staffer, client or Social Media contact to nominate your organization (this is the easy part!). Just a few clicks of the keyboard and your non-profit is in the running.

Crawford Company North came to Dubuque in 2014. We were overwhelmed by the positive reception the business community gave us & were equally wowed by the number of Non-profits working to make Dubuque a better place to live and
work. Crawford Cares is our way to recognize YOU – the folks that are doing the hard work – with personalized awards, recognition and charitable donations.

Between October 31st & November 13th, be sure to get your non-profit nominated www.crawfordnorth.com and our Facebook page will have links to the nomination form beginning on the 31st.
We are nominated – what now??
Voting will run from November 14th through the 27th. Return to www.crawfordnorth.com (or the FB page) and cast your vote. Ask your staff members to vote. Family. Friends. And don’t forget about the people who follow you on Social Media!

When voting ends, the three Non-profits who receive the highest number of votes are then reviewed by an impartial panel of judges. The judges review, talk, advocate and ultimately decide who will receive the 3rd place donation of $250, the 2nd place donation of $500 and the BIG CHECK for $1,500. Your Awards Ceremony will be held Tuesday, December 6th.

Who can participate? – any 501C3 non-profit serving the Greater Dubuque Community.
How can I participate? – Get nominated between 10/31 and 11/13.
How can I increase my chances of winning? – Engage your staff, your friends, clients and Social Media contacts. Use #CrawfordCares2016 to push the word out through Social Media. Every vote counts!
Who participates? – in 2015 30 individual Non-profits participated.
Who votes? – 1,800 people cast votes last year.
Who wins? – that is up to YOU!
