We are excited to announce the dates for Manufacturing Appreciation Tours 2026, Tues., May 12 and Thurs., May 14.
Manufacturing Appreciation Tours are a celebration of modern manufacturing meant to inspire the next generation of manufacturers. The Dubuque Area Chamber sets aside time in May each year to encourage the community to celebrate and appreciate local manufacturers. It is important to recognize our manufacturers, for the products they produce, the jobs they create, the revenue they generate, and their employees who help to generate and boost our local economy.
The Dubuque Area Chamber of Commerce has two days at select facilities for the Manufacturing Appreciation Tours. On these tours, attendees have an opportunity to go behind the scenes and see how it all comes together. Attendees are given a glimpse at these locally made products, and the impact these manufacturers’ investment have on our community. These tours make this week a very popular one with our members.
Closed-toe shoes are required. Please have your ID with you as some businesses require that for entry. If you have safety glasses and ear plugs, feel free to bring them along. Transportation and lunch are provided on both days. Parking available in Five Flags ramp, parking lot across the street from the Chamber, or street parking.
Anyone wishing to tour John Deere needs to register by May 11th to secure your spot at their location. No media is allowed for the John Deere tour.
