I am a Marketing Coordinator at Origin Design.
What do you enjoy outside of work?
Outside of work I enjoy traveling, spending time with friends & family and going on walks with my dog Maple!
Tell us about your family.
I am from Cedar Rapids, Iowa, which is where my parents and most of my siblings currently live. My older sister lives in Florida, which makes for a great escape from Iowa Winters. I also have a goldendoodle, Maple!
What is one unique fact about you that many people may not know?
I lived in Italy for 4 months during my Junior Year of College and I’ve been to 12 countries!
Who is one person who inspires you, and why?
My mom, she has always pushed me to be the best version of myself and she always encourages me to get out of my comfort zone and try new things. I wouldn’t be where I am today without her support and encouragement!
Where is your favorite spot in Dubuque?
I love all the different coffee shops in Dubuque, I’m in-between Jumble and Wayfarer as my favorite. A little outside of Dubuque, but still a favorite is Park Farm Winery, the wine & pizza are so good and I love sitting on their patio in the Fall when the leaves turn.
What do you enjoy most about being a YP member?
I love meeting new people who I might not have met in the community without YP. I also enjoy getting the opportunity to be more involved in the community with the different programs YP organizes.
What piece of advice would you give a new YP member?
My best piece of advice is to sit at a table with at least two people you don’t know, chances are you’ll have some sort of commonality and it’s an easy way to meet new people!
