Director of Finance at Origin Design

What do you enjoy outside of work?

Spending time with my family, traveling, exercising, pool.

My husband Brian and I have been married for 9 years; we have three kids.

What is one unique fact about you that many people may not know?

I hate the smell of coffee and have never even tried it

Who is one person who inspires you, and why?

My mom, she is the most caring and kindest person I know.  I want to me more like her.  She is a dedicated and hard worker and takes great care of her clients. She has a great outlook on life and I just love her. 

Where is your favorite spot in Dubuque?

The Vault is my current favorite lunch spot, Happy’s for Pizza, Moracco for an after-dinner grasshopper with chocolate syrup, Sunny Sundays at my parents pool

What do you enjoy most about being a YP member?

Meeting new people, and learning and growing from the monthly lunch speakers

What piece of advice would you give a new YP member?

Get involved, step out of your comfort zone, sit at a table where you don’t know anyone and introduce yourself.
