What is your current position, and where do you work?
I am the Agency Sales Leader at AssuredPartners, Dubuque and Davenport offices.
What do you enjoy outside of work?
I try to golf once a week during summer. Enjoy a nice outdoor restaurant or bar. Trying different whiskeys is fun. And just hanging out with friends and family is always a good time.
Tell us about your family.
I’m the youngest of 3, and I’m considered the ‘Funcle’ since my brother and sister have kids and I don’t.. yet. My parents Nancy and Andy live in my hometown of Joliet, IL where they constantly ask me to move back to.
What is one unique fact about you that many people may not know?
I don’t have a middle name ☹
Who is one person who inspires you, and why?
My good friend Nick Battalini. In college, he forced me to be his friend. 10 years later, he’s been a great friend, mentor, role model, and someone I want to keep in my circle.
Where is your favorite spot in Dubuque?
My favorite spot is either at Linas Lounge hanging with friends, or on the golf course slicing my driver.
What do you enjoy most about being a YP member?
Being able to connect and network with other young professionals in Dubuque. Whether we are in the same industry or different ones. Also the support we receive from many local companies wanting to associate and sponsor the YP organization.
What piece of advice would you give a new YP member?
Have a conversation with someone you might have seen around Dubuque before, but maybe never spoken with them.
