Jake Deaver, P.E., has joined the Dubuque office of MSA Professional Services. He will be providing comprehensive municipal engineering services to area communities.

“Civil engineering appeals to me because you work on a wide variety of projects on a macro scale,” he said. “And, you get to build relationships with local leaders and directly benefit the communities where we all live, work and play.”

In his previous job, Deaver worked on general municipal, water, wastewater, roadway, and water resources projects for a national, multi-discipline firm in Nebraska. Deaver obtained a B.S. degree in Mathematics and Physics from Doane College in Crete, Nebraska.

Then he received a B.S. degree in Civil Engineering from the University of Nebraska-Lincoln. He is a licensed professional engineer and Class III wastewater operator in Nebraska and will be seeking reciprocity in Iowa.

MSA’s workforce of more than 300 professionals consists of engineers, architects, planners, funding specialists, land surveyors, GIS experts and environmental scientists who serve public and private clients from 14 offices throughout the Upper Midwest For more information, see www.msa-ps.com.
