We will be hosting another night sky program next week Friday, September 9th, from 9:00pm - 10:30pm. Come learn about the celestial alignments of the effigy mounds, light pollution, and the benefits of natural darkness! Following the program, we will depart for the Yellow River Boardwalk for our moon hike. Reservations are required, and can be made by calling us at 563-873-3491, emailing us at EFMO_Interpretation@nps.gov, or by stopping by and letting us know. Please leave your name, phone number, and the number of spaces you would like reserved. Prepare for mosquitoes and cool weather, and be sure to bring a red lights or headlamps only.
