Dubuque’s Citywide Walk on Oct. 4

WHO: The Healthiest State Initiative along with presenting sponsor Delta Dental of Iowa and the City of Dubuque will be hosting a citywide walk on Wednesday, Oct. 4 in support of the Healthiest State Initiative’s annual statewide walk.

WHAT: The Healthiest State invites the media to cover the walk and remarks by the Healthiest State Initiative, Delta Dental of Iowa and city leaders.

WHEN: Media should meet inside the Roshek Building for the press conference after the walk, beginning at 10:45am, and begin remarks at approximately around 11am on Oct. 4. There will be five different routes available throughout the downtown area and will meet inside the Roshek Building for a “Healthiest State” lunch as well speakers by the city leaders.

WHY: This is a great opportunity to cover the support of the statewide Healthiest State Annual Walk and to help promote walking and walkability throughout Iowa.
