Crawford Company will donate a total of $2,500 to three finalists in the Dubuque Crawford Cares Program

Dubuque, Iowa – Crawford North, a division of Crawford Company, will award $1,500.00 to one of three finalists dedicated to service and positive impact in the region through the Crawford Cares community benefit program. The overall winner will be announced and finalists recognized at the Crawford Cares Awards Ceremony being held at 3:00 PM on Wednesday, November 18th at Dimensional Brewing Company, 67 Main Street, Dubuque, IA 52001.  

The finalists for the awards are Dubuque Youth Hockey Association, Whispurring Hope Animal Rescue and St. Mark Youth Enrichment. The three finalists will be judged by a committee composed of Dubuque residents to determine first place. The first-place winner will receive $1,500.00 and runners up will receive $500.00 each.

Crawford Cares is a program through Crawford Company that allows us to give back to the community and foster a collaborative environment between for profit and nonprofit companies in the greater Dubuque area. Crawford Cares is committed to making a positive impact in the local community by honoring entities that serve the greater Dubuque population.

To be eligible, the nominees had to be Dubuque area 501(c)3 organizations and nominated by a local resident. All nominees had to serve local causes for the purpose of having a positive impact on the region. The organizations were also required to demonstrate they were mission-focused and operating on limited resources.

“We are excited to continue the tradition of recognizing Dubuque nonprofits for a seventh straight year” said Ian Frink, President. “This year has featured a number of challenges for nonprofits and fundraising, we are glad to be able to play a small part in supporting these organizations.”
