Status update on upcoming June sale

As COVID restrictions are slowly being lifted in the area, I wanted to send you a quick update on the status of our upcoming June sale. 

Our multi-family estate sale, will be held on June 19th (11-5) and the 20th (9-1) at our warehouse on Century Drive (remember, the sale is always the 3rd Friday and Saturday of each month). We are still utilizing the "scheduling" process, to space out the people that want to be one of the first shoppers to enter the warehouse (remember, this replaces the "numbering system"). If you recall our pre-COVID sales-, the first few hours of the sales were always quite busy, which created parking issues in our lot (Please do not park in the Patio and FIreplace lot, but there is always additional parking in the mall parking lot). We have found that our "COVID" scheduling process has helped alleviate those issues. So at this time, we ask that you still schedule a time slot to shop with us if you want to be one of the first shoppers in. We will let 40 shoppers in at a time and then proceed with a "1 out 1 in" process.  You can schedule your shopping time slot, by going to the following link: https://www.signupgenius.com/go/60B0A4BA5AA29A2F94-june

You do not need to register or schedule a time to shop with us on the Saturday the 20th sale, but we limit shoppers to 40 at a time and implement the  "1 out 1 in" process.

While we hope the lifted restrictions will allow our community to get back to a "more normal" existence and we'd love to see more people out, we also want everyone to feel as comfortable as possible, to do so. For continued safety and to respect everyone's COVID comfort level, we ask that all of our customers, adhere to the following recommendations while shopping at our warehouse:

  • Masks are recommended but are not required. 
  • We will not be providing masks, so if you feel you should wear one, please remember to bring one with you. 
  • We ask that everyone in our warehouse, continue to practice social distancing. 
  • We will continue to provide hand sanitizer for customer use, at various stations throughout the warehouse. We ask that you use this as you feel necessary. 
  • Our staff will continue to sanitize hard, frequently touched surfaces on a regular basis. 

And don't forget.... we are also hosting weekly auctions for both our Dubuque and Waterloo franchise locations on our auction site, CTBIDS.COM. Our current auction ends tomorrow, so be sure to check it out and get your final bids in! Remember, we offer shipping, delivery and scheduled pick-up options for any items purchased. If you purchase items from our Waterloo auctions, I will be happy to arrange to have your items brought back to our Dubuque warehouse for scheduled pick-up, free of charge. 

We will also post items for sale at our new Facebook marketplace sale site at this link:  https://www.facebook.com/groups/caringtransitionsdubuquesales/ . This is a private group on Facebook where we are listing additional individual items for sale. If you purchase an item from our Facebook group, we will schedule a pickup time with you.
