DUBUQUE (October 27, 2025) – Battle for the Bluff Rodeo returns to Dubuque, Iowa on February 20 & 21st! Spectators can again expect two nights of heart-pounding, dirt-in-your-face rodeo action for the whole family to enjoy.
The Battle for the Bluff will take place on Friday, February 20 and Saturday, February 21 at 7:30pm each night. Tickets go on sale Friday, October 31st at 10:00am and can be purchased at the Five Flags Center box office or online at fiveflagscenter.com.
The Battle for the Bluff will showcase three premiere rodeo events: bull riding, bareback bronc riding, and saddle bronc riding. Rodeo events will begin at 7:30 PM on both nights of the event. Saturday the 21st is “Kids Day,” which offers youngsters a chance to meet the cowboys and rodeo clowns. Kids can also learn how to throw a lasso and participate in stick horse races on the same dirt where the grown-up cowboys compete. Doors will open at 5:30 PM on Saturday the 21st for the Kids Day activities.
The Battle for the Bluff Rodeo, a staple event at the Five Flags Center since 2019, is a part of a lineup of rodeos produced by Sandburr Rodeo Promotions, Wildhorse Productions, and Thurn Seeding.
