Expanding Air Service
 The Dubuque Area Chamber of Commerce is dedicated to increasing air service at the Dubuque Regional Airport. The market for air travel in the Tri-state area is strong and growing, with 401,000 people living within a 60-mile radius of Dubuque.
The airport commission has completed a study identifying the need for a new terminal approximately three times that of the existing facility. This project is expected to cost about $25 million. We encourage federal and state lawmakers to provide the Dubuque Regional Airport with the resources necessary to realize this expansion. Additionally, we urge the federal government to provide incentives to airlines that expand their operations in underserved markets.
