Dubuque, Iowa — June 28, 2018— CARF International announced that Hills & Dales has been accredited for a period of three years for its Community Employment Services: Employment Services, Community Employment Services: Job Development, Community Integration, and Community Integration (Autism Spectrum Disorder – Children and Adolescents).  The latest accreditation is the fourth consecutive Three-Year Accreditation that the international accrediting body, CARF, has awarded to Hills & Dales.

The report shared numerous positive comments regarding the organization’s growth and expansion of services meeting community needs, services that are person-centered and which focus on the hopes, dreams, and desires of the residents/clients, the overall competency of the staff, and interdepartmental communication and many others.

This accreditation decision represents the highest level of accreditation that can be awarded to an organization and shows the organization’s substantial conformance to the CARF standards. An organization receiving a Three-Year Accreditation has put itself through a rigorous peer review process. It has demonstrated to a team of surveyors during an on-site visit its commitment to offering programs and services that are measurable, accountable, and of the highest quality.

Hills & Dales is a nonprofit organization and has been providing residential and community-based supports and services to individuals with disabilities and their families in Dubuque and eastern Iowa since 1973.
