Dubuque, IA- May 2018- The Greater Tri-State Chapter of the Association of Fundraising Professionals (AFP) is now accepting nominations for its 2018 National Philanthropy Day ® awards luncheon. Local community members may honor a volunteer fundraiser, generous donor, philanthropic organization, youth in philanthropy (grade school, high school, or college), or a professional fundraiser by completing a nomination form in its entirety.
National Philanthropy Day ® nomination forms are available online at http://afpgreatertristate.afpnet.org/ click on Philanthropy Day on the menu for more information or to download nomination forms. The forms can be printed and filled out at your convenience and mailed to the address on the form. Applications are due by June 15, 2018.
The National Philanthropy Day ® Awards Luncheon will be held on Thursday, November 15, 2018 at the Grand River Center in the Port of Dubuque. Awards for Outstanding Individual Philanthropists, Outstanding Volunteer Fundraiser, Outstanding Philanthropic Organization, Outstanding Youth in Philanthropy, and Outstanding Professional Fundraiser will be presented, based on nominations received.
