ABI President Joins EPIC Corporate Challenge Advisory Board as the EPIC Corporate Challenge rolls out across the State

Mike Ralston, President of the Iowa Association of Business and Industry (ABI) has joined the Advisory Board for the EPIC Corporate Challenge (EPIC). EPIC is a public-private partnership in support of Iowa women in leadership. It brings together Iowa businesses to formally commit to grow and retain women at all levels of company leadership, creating a unique community of organizations working collectively on the vital issues of recruiting, maintaining, and promoting women in the workforce. The initiative is led by Iowa Women Lead Change and the State of Iowa with Presenting Sponsors Delta Dental and Hy-Vee.

TAJIKISTAN LEADERS EXPLORE INNOVATION, TECHNOLOGY AND START-UPS IN DUBUQUE

The Dubuque Area Chamber of Commerce will host five Tajikistan leaders participating in the Open World Program from April 8 – April 16, 2017. These leaders will explore businesses specializing in innovation and technology and will meet new area business owners. Managed by the independent Open World Leadership Center, Open World introduces rising leaders of emerging democracies to legislative functions essential to democracy. Open World maintains a network of leaders who have gained significant, firsthand exposure to America’s democratic, accountable government and free-market system. Funded almost entirely by the U.S. Congress, Open World links Members to their counterparts and is an instrument for Americans engaged in citizen diplomacy.
