STIHL® TIMBERSPORTS® Series
Those who crave entertainment will not be disappointed by the unique and extreme sporting event making it’s way to the America’s River Festival June 8-10, 2007.
Spectators will be riveted to the action by a variety of gut-wrenching, sweat-flying disciplines, such as the Single Buck, Stock and Hot Saw, Underhand, Standing and Springboard Chops.
The STIHL® TIMBERSPORTS® Series (often referred to as “oh yeah, those lumberjack guys on ESPN…” is a competitive skills contest set in a made-for-TV format.
TIMBERSPORTS incorporates wood chopping and sawing - time-honored, traditional techniques and skills perfected by professional loggers and woodsmen — into an authentic “race” format. It’s been a part of ESPN’s program lineup for 19 years.
